Welcome to Dave's Nursery web page.
At this time I would like to introduce myself, and the type of business that I am in. I am what we in the trade call a propagator. Simply put, I manufacture plants. These plants will be ready for spring shipping.

I have been in the business for over 30 years myself, and am the 8th generation to be doing this. My line of grafting deals with dwarf, rare, unusual deciduous and or conifers. Such as: Japanese Maples Canadian Hemlocks, Colorado Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Pine, etc., etc., etc.

By grafting these plants, they are able to stay true to name, color, and growth.

I believe grafts are good way to start a landscape around your house or place of business at an affordable price. These plants when grown properly will command a very high price and can increase property values in an enormous way.

If we are sold out of a variety that you wish to order, then you may order now for the following year. This will insure that you receive exactly what you want. NO CREDIT CARDS WILL BE CHARGED UNTIL THE WEEK OF SHIPPING. No order will be accepted unless accompanied by a check, money order, cashier's check and/or credit card. Should injury befall the stock at my nursery due to a fire, theft, weather, or any other unforeseen reason beyond my control , then your original deposit or portion thereof shall be returned to you.

When you receive your package you will notice a rubber band around the union wear the seedling and scion are joined together to make this graft. You will gently remove the rubber band and plant the top of the union about ½" to 1" below the soil surface. This will insure that the plant will be protected from the wind, rain, and snow. You may plant these plants either in a bigger pot or in the ground. Since these are small plants only in a 2 ¼" pot, I recommend planting in a protected area and water routinely but not to excess. Leave in a location for 3 years then transplant to a final area.

Any packages shipped out of country will have to be inspected by the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE and the price shall be borne by the customer. All out of country customers must have their checks drawn on a UNITED STATES BANK.

  • No pines can be shipped to California, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, New Mexico, & Nevada due to there respective state department orders.
  • If some of the plants that you order is not available at time of shipping, then the plant or plants will be substituted of equal or grater value unless notified to the contrary.
  • These plants are only in 2 ¼" pots and can easily be mailed directly to you.
  • Orders will be mailed to you either by UPS or U.S. POSTAL SERVICE. Please indicate your preference.
  • Residents of New Jersey please add 7% sales tax to your order.

I have at my disposal about 380 different varieties to choose from. If there is something that you want and don't see in these packages, then please Write, Call, Fax or E-Mail.

At this time I would like to thank you for viewing my web page and hope that there is something of value for you in which you see.
